I finally won one of the Uberti 1851 Navys that I've been chasing for months now. Here is a picture. It'll probably arrive next week (from Texas, where else?).

What do you mean you "won" it?
Is it a prize you're getting for free, or did you "win" an auction?
This is my first real deal handgun. I plan on shooting it, but since it's black powder it's a bit of an ordeal, so I don't know when I'll get to. I don't know if a local gun range would allow black powder.
It's also for collecting and reference. :) It's THE Good Bad and Ugly gun.

By the way, the gun itself looks muy dolce (or should I say molto dolce?)
I meant muy dUlce/molto dolce.
I'm going to quit commenting now.

Deng - it looks so awesome. I'm jealous! I have to get my mom to give me all my grandpa's guns - lots of 6 shooters, riffles, etc.
For reference of course . . . mua ha ha!
Your grandpa has six shooters and old rifles? That's awesome! Get on that! :)
