King of the Hill cancelled

Booooooooooooooooooooooo!

King of the Hill was one of the best written and funniest shows in the last decade plus. I love all the characters and will miss the show.

How about releasing the rest of the series on DVD, Fox? You won't keep my favorite shows on the air, but I know you'll take my money for the DVD sets.

I think it was time to cancel the show about 2 seasons ago. I canceled my season pass last year mid-season because it just didn't have the spark it used to have. But I will always love this show for things like "spapeggy" and Bobby's fighting episode where he kicks everyone in the family jewels while saying "That's my purse! I don't know you!"

I do have to admit that I haven't watched the last few seasons, preferring to watch my TV through Netflix, but I haven't heard that's it's gone down-hill. Has it? If it's bad, then end it, but if it's as good as seasons 2-6, I'd love to know there was more out there.

There are now rumors that ABC might pick it up.

(What do you mean by "canceled my season pass"?)

Sorry, that's TiVo speak. A season pass automatically records all new episodes of a show. I found that I would always be putting off watching KOTH and when I did watch, I just wasn't laughing as hard as I used to. The show isn't bad, but it just isn't as funny as it's been in the past.
